The Social Network soundtrack: artwork by Rob Sheridan

To create the glitchy effects for the Social Network soundtrack art, Rob added and deleted text in the raw code of his images via a text editor.

I tested it out on a Mac - all you need to do is open your image in TextEdit and delete some text then open it in Preview (Photoshop wont recognise it at this point) save it as a jpg and then open it in Photoshop and voilà - glitchy!

As Rob has said, it takes a bit of trial-and-error but the results are really cool and are actual glitches, not photoshopped glitches.
